Ascot Women's Hockey Club still has some spots remaining for our Divisional Turf Teams.

Ascot has 4 turf teams in Division 1, 2, 3 and 4 and is currently looking for additional players for all teams, in particular Division 3 and 4.

Division 1, 2 and 3 play on a Saturday afternoon/night and Division 4 plays on a Sunday afternoon/night across the 4 Brisbane turf facilities on a rotational basis.

Ascot Women's Hockey Club is looking for a Division 3 Coach for the 2012 Season.

Turf training is Wednesday night each week at the State Hockey Centre, with an occasional Monday Night.

Fitness is on a Monday night at Downey Park, Windsor for all turf teams.

Ascot Division 3 finished in 6th position in 2011, in a tightly contested competition.

Ascot Women's Hockey Club is looking for a Division 3 Goal Keeper for the 2012 season.

Training is every Wednesday Night at the State Hockey Centre at various times (as allocated each month).

The first BWHA Council meeting was held on Tuesday 31st January for the 2012 Season.

BWHA are looking for volunteers to assit with the following roles within the Association:

Constitution Committee: 2 positions available
Premier League & Open Selectors: 1 positions
U18 Selectors: 2 positions
Junior Turf & Grass Umpires convenors: 1 position each
U13 Selectors: 4 positions
U11 Selector: 3 positions
Junior Fixture & Grading Committee: 1 position
Many committees are unlimited and could use additional volunteers: Grounds, House, Masters, Marketing and Events, Jnr Umpires Panel, Archives

BWHA are also looking for anyone who knows a Town Planner in the Brisbane City Council to help with a Feasability Test for a Turf Surface at Downey Park. If you know anyone please contact the BWHA Office.

BWHA Represenative team players and officials nominations are now opened.

Players, Umpires, Coaches and Managers positions are now opened and have variosu closing dates for each event.

Nominations forms can be found on the BWHA website under Administration / Forms.

BWHA have a number of casual paid positions going for the 2012 hockey season.

They are currently looking for people for the following positions:

Canteen Convenor/Cook for Downey Park - Saturdays from March to September

Canteen Counter Staff for Downey and Rasey Park - Saturdays from March to September (U18s to apply)

Junior Turf Tech Officials - Friday and Saturday mornings at various turf venues from March to September

Senior Turf Tech Officials and Umpire Mentors - Saturday and Sunday afternoons at various turf venues from March to September
